The images displayed at NE 13th and Santa Fe, this very building. This building housed the historic Triple AAA Root Beer corporate offices during their popularity in the early 1940s through the early 1970s.
The Triple AAA Root Beer manufacturing Company was established in 1937 by Albert Rochau & D.G Carpenter in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. they supplied extracts and syrups to soft drink bottlers, having created their products to compete with other soft drink makers likes Hires and A&W. They promoted their root beer as “delicious, healthful, and refreshing.” they became a favorite with their 12 oz glass bottle made with pure cane sugar and iconic red logo. At it’s peak they were producing 24 different flavors of soda and has a group of Triple AAA Thirst Station restaurants as well. Triple AAA has their corporate office at NE 13th and Santa Fe, while having drive in thirst stations in various locations within the area, their roots run deep in Oklahoma City. After a long run, they closed their doors in 1974 and are missed to this day.
